At The Little Things Bakery

We want our customers to get exactly what they envisioned. We know that event planning can be stressful, and we want to help alleviate some of that stress by offering step by step guidance through the ordering process of all our cakes and desserts for any event.

About us

The Little Things Bakery is committed to providing our customers with fantastic cakes and desserts made with fresh, high quality ingredients. Leah Hodson graduated from the Oregon Coast Culinary Institute in 2012. From there she moved to Santa Barbara where she worked and trained under Wayne Kjar, son of local legend Henning Kjar. With his knowledge and insight in the bakery business he helped train her to eventually be able to run her own bakery. In 2019 The Little Things Bakery opened their doors in the same location where Wayne had run Your Cake Baker for many years.  All the classic recipes that Henning and Wayne used for their cakes and buttercreams have now been passed down to The Little Things Bakery where we continue their legacy.
